Day 5 Ajaccio – Aléria (B)
Drive to Aléria, Corsica’s oldest town founded by Greeks in the 6th century BC. Explore ancient Roman ruins and visit a blooming Immortelle field. Expert Lecture: Daily applications of Immortelle essential oil.
Day 6 Aléria – Sartène (B)
Visit the cliffside citadel of Bonifacio via sightseeing train. Wander the medieval streets overlooking the Mediterranean. Afternoon arrival in Sartène, known as "the most Corsican of towns."
Day 7 Sartène & The Organic Estate (B, L)
Visit an organic Biodynamic Immortelle Estate. Participate in the harvest and witness on-site essential oil extraction. Special Lunch: Corsican culinary specialties paired with local estate wines. Afternoon at leisure to explore the "Stone City" of Sartène.
Day 8 Sartène – Ajaccio – Nice (B)
Return to Ajaccio to visit Maison Bonaparte (Napoleon’s birthplace) and the local market. Afternoon flight to Nice, the jewel of the French Riviera. Stroll along the Promenade des Anglais.
Day 9 Nice – Monaco – Nice (B)
Morning excursion to Monaco, the world’s second-smallest independent state, famous for Monte Carlo and F1. Afternoon Expert Lecture: Scientific applications of essential oils in aromatherapy.
Day 10 Nice – Grasse – Cannes – Marseille (B)
Visit Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. Tour the International Perfume Museum and the Fragonard Factory. Proceed to Cannes to see the Palais des Festivals, then continue to Marseille to visit the Old Port and Notre-Dame de la Garde.
Day 11 Marseille – Avignon (B)
Drive to Avignon, the "City of Popes" and a UNESCO site. Visit the Palais des Papes. Tour an essential oil laboratory and aromatic plantation to learn about chemical composition and the cultural importance of Lavender in Provence.
Day 12 Avignon – Drôme (B)
Travel to a Lavender Estate in Drôme. Learn about lavender varieties, cultivation, and harvesting. Walk through the vast purple fields and witness the distillation process. Afternoon: Magical Aromatherapy Workshop.
Day 13 Valence – Annecy – Burgundy (B)
Visit Annecy, the "Venice of the Alps," known for its pristine lake and flower-lined canals. Continue to Burgundy, a region world-famous for its historic abbeys, fine wines, and gastronomy.
Day 14 Burgundy – Paris (B)
Explore Burgundy’s vineyards and learn about French wine culture with a professional sommelier. Sample local delicacies (including the famous Burgundy snails) before returning to Paris.
Day 15 Paris – North America (B)
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home, concluding your fragrant journey through France.
